• O NAMA

In 2018, the social enterprise Ruke was founded in the city of Pancevo, within the project „ONAsnaživanje“ with the aim of economic empowerment of women. Members of local women’s associations, women from socially disadvantaged categories, and former and current beneficiaries of the Safe House are gathered around the social enterprise „Ruke“. Profits from the sale of products are used for the development of educational programs and educational processes of the beneficiaries in order to increase the competencies and working abilities for further integration into the labor market.

• ŠTA PROIZVODIMO?

The social enterprise „Ruke“ is engaged in the handmade production of textile products such as rugs, cloths, pillowcases, seats, and coasters. All products are made from high-quality natural materials, relying on traditional techniques and modern design. Product design is created within the company, and it is also done at the request of customers.

The mission and values of social enterprise „Ruke“ are based on the idea of equality and empowerment of women, contribution to the fight to reduce violence against women, economic independence, and long-term sustainability.
