The social enterprise Centar Zvezda was founded in the form of an association in 2013 in Belgrade, with the aim of providing continuous support to young people without parental care or from poor and dysfunctional families. Center Zvezda achieves this through education programs and support for independence. With the aim of job training and support for independence, young people participate in workshops for the production of decorative haberdashery and products such as candles, greeting cards, souvenirs, decorations, and the like. The profit obtained from the sale of these products is invested in the resources needed by young people and the educational programs of the Zvezda Center.
Centar Zvezda produces candles, greeting cards, postcards, ornaments, souvenirs, etc. decorative haberdashery in the process of handwork.
Center Zvezda realizes social influence through work integration and training for independent living of young people from the category of sensitive and marginalized groups (youth without parental care and/or dysfunctional families). From the total annual profit from product sales, 50% of the profit is returned to the Zvezda Center for the development and implementation of youth support programs.
