EVENT: Consultations with social enterprises – a framework for sector development and the experience of the Covid-19 crisis

Last year 2019, for the social enterprise sector was marked by the drafting of the Law on Social Entrepreneurship by civil society and the official handover to institutions. The first half of 2020 was marked by a crisis caused by the Covid-19 virus pandemic, and the so-called The “lockdown” has dealt a major blow to the economy, including the social enterprise sector. Although research shows that there is a certain dose of resilience of social enterprises to these types of blows of the recession, experiences are still different and their exchange and observation of good practice is important for the overall development of the social enterprise sector in the future.

On the further development of the law-making process, the new activities of the Coalition for the Solidarity Economy Development and the experiences of social enterprises during more than a 2 months of lockdown, the identified needs for stabilization and development in the future. Consultation with social enterprises – a framework for sector development and the experience of the Covid-19 crisis, will be organized on Wednesday, August 19, from 11 am, through the ZOOM platform.
